Sauk Prairie principal jailed
Daniel Markofski, 47, took a
16-year-old girl and her 15-year-old cousin to a Super 8 Motel in
Glendale, Wis. where they drank cognac, wine coolers and smoked
marijuana. He forced the girls to watch a pornographic movie and
had sex with the 16-year-old.
He taught second through eight
grades at North Lake School in Manitowish Waters.
Markofski was the principal of Spring Grove Elementary School in
Spring Grove, Ill. when he was arrested over the weekend.

His Charge Sheet
He is charged with two
counts of exposing a child to harmful material and one count
of sexual intercourse with a child aged 16 or older. Each
exposing count is 3½ years, but the intercourse charge is only
a misdemeanor charge and comes with a prison sentence of up to
nine months.

Sexual Assault Of A Minor Child
A person
accused and convicted for having sexual contact or sexual
intercourse with a person who has attained the age of 13 years,
but has not attained the age of 16 years is guilty of
second-degree sexual assault of a minor child, a
Class C felony.
(WI Stat 948.02(2))
For a Class C
Felony, the penalty is a fine of up to $100,000, or
imprisonment of up to 40 years.

Judge John Franke ordered Markofski to serve one year in
jail on the harmful material convictions. His sentence was
suspended, and he
lives in Milwaukee.

was a principal at a school in Illinois when he drugged two children
in Wisconsin. Oddly, that his present school wasn't notified. Next
we see this monster is charged with minor crimes, versus statutory
