At 2:30 Cook meets Levine at his $2.5 million condo, they cook a plan, and exchange cars. At 3:04 a police car chases the Porsche at speeds in excess of 100 mph. It was found minutes later abandoned on a highway entrance ramp. 7

Police did pull over the BMW and found Levin driving.  He told the officer that he had met Derek Cook at Blue Martini, where the two switched cars, around 1:30. LeVin said that he left the nightclub and returned to his condo, when the two businessmen were killed.
